Psychology is probably more relevant on your CV for being in a career in medicine, but alot of my friends have moaned it's a load of bull.

Yes, but if you do English and Maths then you have good back-up qualifications. Imagine if you went to uni, then hated it and were like... 'er, what do I do now?'. You never know what you might think in future years. Be wise?

Im pretty set to aim for a career involving the sciences [favourite subjects] or teaching. And Im not going to study subjects that I dont enjoy, will be hell for 2 more years, but I understand about back up plans if things dont work out/lose interest, thanks Dee.

I'd take German. Psychology is just common sense, that's not a subject. It's like that crap 'media studies...'

You'll go far with having fluent German. All the way to Germany and earn loads of money. Yeah, go for it!

On the contray, getting an 'A' at A level language is very very hard.. and Psychology is not just common sense...

Ahh I have like a week or 2 to decide, Im leaning towards German but Im still not positive..

Always do subjects like Psycology or Sociology as marginal subjects - you don't actually need to study, it's just common sense. I did Sociology as my outside course at Uni. As the lectures were @ 9am, I managed to haul myself out of bed for the sign-up then never went ever again to any lecture or tutorial. I did the exam and got a merit award (top 10% at EDi Uni that year for that course).

Ooo.. German or Psychology? Well learning a different language fluently would be really good and you would probably get good pay from working in translating languages. Well especially if you took German as a degree? Psychology seems interesting and is a bit more information for you if you want a career in the science/medic department. Eek go for the one you think you will enjoy the most Jords! Argh dilemma's can be tough.
