Its only a matter of a few seasons before cesc goes to barca....once xavi starts getting a bit old

he wont be going anywhere else

No I am a Southampton fan, we've just come out of the crapper. It will take us at least 5 years to get back to the premiership but we have the right man and chairman.

Giggsy is a brilliant player (apart from not turning up to Welsh friendlies) and I'm not taking anything away from him. It's just Ramsey is something that gives me hope as a supporter that we can make it to either a Euro or World Cup. When you look at who we have now coming through for Wales, in five years time we will have a great team.

Watch the boy Ramsey, this to me is the new Steven Gerrard. If he was agressive then I would even say Roy Keane.

I felt sorry for you guys when it all went downhill

, from the highs of the FA Cup final to Administration and relegations to League 1 but things seem to be on the up again you have a decent team and can challenge for promotion next season hope it all goes well

Yeah Holt is good too. Beckford I also reckon is overrated. I remember Leeds playing Northampton in their 1-1 draw and he missed a lot of sitters. I thought Premier League you're having a laff.

Yeah leeds fans are the first to say they couldn't care if he leaves..yeah alot of the success of leeds this season is cause of him, but he misses loads of chances and his first touch sometimes is horrendous

He is championship level

Thanks bbfan, I don't want us to go up this season because I know we will go back down. I actually feel sorry for Portsmouth, possibly the only Saints fan who does. They will go the same way as we did. Cup Final, sell all their players and then into League One.

terrible whats happening at portsmouth. one half of me wants them to be punished heavily - but then one half makes me feel much sympathy for the fans as its not their fault. classic example is luton - the fans didn't deserve that, the owners did

If I were Portsmouth I would take the administration now and get those 10 points off. They look doomed to relegation anyway, so it wouldn't affect them. I would prefer 10 points gone now rather than 10 in the Championship which is hard as hell to predict who beats who. To start -10 would be suicide in that division.

So reports claim JT stripped of the England captaincy, I have no sympathy for him and he only has himselves to blame. However I don't want Rooney to be captain, if he is named I will be right behind him.

Gerrard failed as a captain

Rooney is our best player he shouldn't have the burden of being captain too

Hes getting enough bollocking as it is...this is our best chance to win the world cup for yonks
