I can see the talking argument but she does demonstrate better vocals on tracks like "Chinese", "Friend of Mine" and "Smile".

Who cares if she is not a great singer on a technical level. Do people still make those kind of arguments? She makes up for it elsewhere thus can still be considered a valid musical artist. Were the Sex Pistols not artists, then? How about Eminem? Because Johnny Rotten and Eminem certainly can't sing a note.
