Seriously why do Hollyoaks have 2 Calenders? Are they knowen to have sexy cast members or somthing?

Yes, thats why its an awful show, everyone is unrealistically good looking.

They could have really cracked the soap scene if they had gone with the child killer plot, but they backed down.

Doing something like that would have really raised its profile and awareness

Yes because James Bulger's mom got upset, I understand it would have been hard for her and other victims families to watch had they gone through with it but the storyline they had planned was something different.

Hollyoaks have covered some gritty plots through out the years i've watched for a long time now. The new producer will sort things again and cull the deadwood and also bring it back to form.

Yeah, they could have, and Eastenders could have gone with the child abduction plot a few years ago.

To name a few 'different' storylines, Hollyoaks have tackled:

Parachute death
Bulimia
Schizophrenia
Gambling addiction
Flashforward episode
Diverse range of characters (moreso than any other soap)

Hollyoaks doesn't get much coverage but when they do, they sure make the most of it.

I have a good feeling about the new producer Paul Marquess Callum.
