I have never needed one, other than art class and that was when ipods first sorta came out, so i just had a normal mp3..

I go out to friends.. they have music..
Go out to a club.. it has music
Go out in my car.. it has music
Work.. has its own radio station
Gym.. has its own radio station

Where would i ever use one?

Plus my phone has enough space to hold songs..
and headphones are so uncomfy

I don't know, Desmond is a big mystery really, I don't know where he fits into things but I have a feeling that he's some kind of angel or protector some how. Remember he saw Charlies death and stopped it happening a few times and he told Charlie that it happened to him before? Desmond is one of my favorites too along with Sawyer and Miles
