I mean, there may be some truth in the fact that it fed his imagination, but to blame it all on porn was his one last desperate act to excuse himself. He was a sadistic killer. Simple.

I think he shows how shallow society can be really. I mean it shocks people that a good looking intelligent guy could do such things. People believed him right up until the end. But his ego got the better of him in the end, especially in court.
