We do try and promote alternatives. Obviously not enough. But it's an exercise in futility anyway. As lovey dovey as it is to sprout it, reading a good book or taking a walk in the park wont get you the same buzz as doing drugs. Plenty of teenagers are cultured, fit and active and they still want to alter their brain chemistry at the weekends. It's a different, additional, sort of buzz.

The trouble comes when drugs are your only way of getting a buzz.
