That is cheating.. if for example a lot of people put Amanda - 5 points, Sam - 4 points but their points are added together at the end.. they have a chance of probably winning. Not fair!! if people have to vote for them seperate, in which place they come in should be seperate. If you have to vote for them together, their place should come in together.
