Yeah the vast majority of the country is sewn up in nationalist piggotry. We let the likes of Fianna Fail and the Catholic Church walk all over us and most of suburbia gleefully go along for the ride because it's 'Irish'.
The same people who rally GAA communities to protest headshops, bearing in mind Diageo is entertwined with the GAA and Guiness actually improves your hurling ability.
The tagline is even 'guiness is good for you' for f
uck sake. It's like priest, pints and a healthy sense of closeted racism is the aul Irish way.
But it's still a great place because the good folk have this whimsical 'ah sure f
uck it' view about it.
