They are the most pointless things ever made, its just a way for Apple to milk this whole 'i' thing to get more and more money.

No one wants one, they will fail epicly compared to everything else Apple have made.

The iPhone, iPod Nano, iPod such and such, and god knows what else.

Why on earth would anyone with a brain PAY money for a fat, chunky iPod when you can get one just as good that actually fits in your pocket.

Because people with expendable income like to buy things they don't need, when it would be much better if all these technological knob goblins spent half the money on the homeless and the other half on having a damn good time.

I'm not a ludite, by the way, I have plenty of tech, but the whole mass market hype of products that you can get by without irks me.

That's not true. I know a few people in the city who are homeless purely down to the economy and a veritable laundry list of problems outside their control.

I realize that compassion is not as important as Jersey Shore, but we cant all be cunts. There needs to be a balance.

Apple sold 1million iPads less than a month after launch. It took them three months to sell the first million iPhones.

I'm not rushing to get one. That's not to say I wouldn't like one, but I already have an iPod and iPhone so I'm not THAT bothered. Like Ross, I might wait until a later stage.

This couldn't be more wrong. Until you have facts to back up your facts to back up your comments, don't comment at all...

Apple have sold one million iPads in 28 days in the US alone, and, like Matt said, it took them three months to do that with the very first iPhone. They've delayed the launch internationally due to strong demand. If that's failing, I'd hate to see what a success is.
