Single mothers get tarred with the same brush as the few stereotypical ones really, In my own experiences I don't think I've come across a bad or stereotypical single mother, most I know do a brilliant job and should be applauded not lambasted.

Then again I can only talk from my own experiences.

Ultimately it's women who control what happens to their bodies. And it's their bodies that create babies. So really, they should take control of the situation and be prepared for all possibilities.

And any woman who relies on a man to prevent her getting pregnant is a ****ing idiot. Seriously.

The responsibility for contraception should be shared really, if you are in a casual relationship then you should always have your own contraception just in case because you never know unless you can trust the other person completely.

The original comment was a bit, lets say not thought through, a lot of girls or women who end up as single mothers may have been in a long standing relationship, may have been using contraception, or may have been unlucky or stupid. I dont think many people actually do go out to get pregnant and intend to remain single in order to milk the system, do you?

Incidentally a female can keep her legs closed, bend over and still be penetrated, an enjoyable position for women is to be on top have the male inside her and then close her legs and enjoy the stimulation this brings.

Would be more accurate to state both parties having sexual relations should ensure that the other person uses a form of contraception at the same time as using a form themselves. Nothing as effective as wearing braces and a belt as my granny ised to say.
