You already outed yourself as being someone entirely unconcerned by a silly online competition yet is going to cast vote in a certain subversive way - which says a hell of a lot about you. But I know you are under considerable strain from positive competitions. This being the second one in six months and all that.

You are right Stu.. the people posting in this thread saying.. "they don't care" obviously do! I have known for ages that people like Zippy and Setenta don't like these "wank fests" but still have the time to care enough to post.... lol

Anywho at the end of the day. It is only a bit of fun!

I think it's a TiBB phenomenon. This is the only forum I have ever been on where a big love up mash up can actually upset and bemuse people.

Sure, a few people are ass kissers who will be refreshing the pages constantly to see what position they have landed but by no means do they represent the majority of us

Sorry Beasty - but I think you are wrong there! It is about finding it all annoying - and sometimes voting just to help avoid a few smug desperadoes from getting too big for their boots! I don't include you in that btw! That is not the same as 'caring' - just wanting to take one or two people down a peg or two! I feel similarly about the tv/music awards ceremonies - and never watch them! Can't be doing with all the back patting!
