Can I just ask something to the users from ROI, do you still consider us from NI as Irish and part of Ireland? Sorry I've just always wondered this, don't intend to start a war :P
Can also see the offense Caoimhe may have taken, there's a very brutal past about it for the Irish people to be recognized as Irish :P

Your on the island of Ireland but your obviously not from The Republic.

Depends what the person in question consider themselves I suppose. If you are living in NI and consider yourself Irish then you are Irish in my eyes, and belong to what should be a 32 county ROI. No treaties or borders or anything can change that. Your Irish just like me.

If you consider yourself English and you live in NI well then I can't possibly consider that person Irish for obvious reasons. If they don't want to be they evidently aren't.
