Personally I think he is on dodgy ground passing comments about people's names when he insists on calling himself John James. Why can't it just be one or the other, like most people - it is a bit of a mouthful and sounds odd! Double barrelled christian names are not necessary - and most people would choose to use just one name on a regular, casual basis!
