There have been many votes in the past that high. Its a mixture of JJs female following(he does have the hunk vote all to himself being the only decent looking guy this year) and the fact that Nathan has hardly been shown the past 4 weeks...therefore no great fanbase. And when he was shown past week it was in a very bad light. Whereas JJ always gets good edits. His endless bitching sessions are reduced to a couple of lines if even shown at all.

Plus we dont know how many voted. 89% of 100 people is only 89 people. See how he fairs against a big popular HM.

But overall, no surprise at all. Nathan would have gone against anybody.
