Personally i'd prefer Dave to say whatever he likes, but that isn't the rules of the game. The rule is interpretation - the government can lock up anyone they don't like for 'incitement'.

Would it matter if they get away with it, especially when you consider the amount of support they would have at their disposal.

If preeching the god thing isn't incitement, then surely preeching satanism (the opposite) is, yet satanism is a recognised religion that you can worship in the Monarch's armed forces.

What about non 'recognised' religions, can they only preech incitement simply because they're not 'recognised'?

Free speech is just that - speech

Religious hatred would be active, if he actually condems other religions. But he's not ... all religions believe their religion is the be all and end all - that they are superior in beliefs. So it's a redundant argument ... you got your wires crossed... And when in doubt, read about it before so your opinion is at least informed.

Opinions are like arse holes ... everyone has one regardless.

But to say his belief is the be all end all, means mine isn't, so he is attacking my belief system. I don't mind him saying that, but we have rules that mean what he said is incitement to religious hated.

So in that case all religious people incite religious hatred ... and if that's the case what's the point in singling out this particular case. Caoimhe says religious is bull****. Is she inciting hatred? Again ... it's free speech. Until he actually advocates hateful acts against other type of people or says specifically negative things about other religions or beliefs .. he's not insciting hatred.
He's saying that in his opinion, his religion is the best. FREE SPEECH
