If he was playing the game he would have backed down far sooner in fear BB would say "There is the door" he cherishes his friendship with Josie and is a bit immature in the fact he doesn't know not to call a big girl fat but he absolutely admires her and was almost heartbroken when she wouldn't confirm their friendship.
Anyone who just replies it's all a plan, then this is some brilliant plan, but the fact the same people call him thick are simply contradicting themselves immensely.
