I think its been obvious that the girl is just so self concious and has very low self esteem, she doesn't believe that someone like John James would be interested in her and its no mistake that the change in her came shortly after two sexy ladies entered the house, when she realises that she is infact a very good looking sexy woman herself she will feel a lot better about herself and her confidence will grow.

She doesn't want to be seen like the fat/ugly girl who got strung along by JJ so she is playing the dump card first to save face which is a shame since she is neither far nor ugly, thats why JJ's comment on her "98 chins" killed her though, he is the one person she wants to look at her in her best light and he mentions something that was a dagger in her heart.

I know she was a bit out of order but she was lashing out, we've all did it, I felt for sorry both of them
