I'd love to see Josie's reaction to Sam saying that .. hope it's on tonight ..

I doubt Josie has any idea just how pathetic she looks sucking away at that thumb stuck in her mouth .. otherwise she wouldn't do it so much .. it is an addiction that she probably wouldn't be able to just stop overnight .. but if she only knew how dumb it makes her seem .. she'd save it for under the duvet .. oh, she can't .. she's too busy kissing John James under the quilt ..

Tbh - I don't think she probably does suck her thumb in reality - I think it is just a ploy for attention and sympathy and to make her look more 'innocent' and naive! She is probably having a good laugh at the public!

And on the vague chance it is a genuine habit - what does that say about her anyway - hardly normal behaviour for a grown woman!

It's clear that she does suck her thumb in real life as well. You can see it from the way her upper teeth are formed. She should kick the habit quickly.

I'm not totally convinced by that argument - might be right - but she may have been goofy anyway - not all goofs suck their thumb!

It's got to be a habit - from childhood. Has she ever seen herself doing this, I wonder. If she has, I can't imagine she would be very proud of such a pathetic habit.

You go, Sam! Tell it like it is! You've got nothing to lose at this stage - and you have an opportunity of taking everybody's measure before you went i! Revenge is sweet - and entertaining! Sorry to have to say that!

I agree .. it's clear this is an ingrained habit that Josie's probably had all her life .. going by the way her top teeth protrude slightly .. yeah, she should try to quit .. actually, her teeth ain't too bad, considering they've been pushed forward for hours every day/night for 25 years .. I would've thought they'd be worse than they are and sticking more ..

My young brother sucked his thumb til he was 9 years old and only stopped when he got his tonsils out and couldn't swallow after the op.
