If you were dead certain about leaving, I don't think you'd be making this thread. If anyone gives you grief, report it to a mod or admin. Really... they're not that bad.
Creating a thread to announce your departure to the whole forum is only going to annoy people and looks as if you're fishing for validation.
If someone is maliciously targeting you, keep a transcript of all their abusive messages for good measure.
