If that's the worst you think you've encountered in life your doing not so bad. I don't classify it as bitching, it more discussion on people motives. If you don't do this and hence question people and challenge people then give most of them an inch and they will take a mile. I don't care about bitching or immorality on the show at all, I think that's one of its main purposes. I don't like that he came in a monk costume and has worn Jesus on his sleeve from the start and still acts like everyone else. He wants all of the respect of higher standards and none of the judgment.

That said, he's notably less irritating/hypocritical than most evangelicals I've ever met.

I'm not a big fan of those with an all consuming obsession with religion so that would be my reason - but at the same time I also respect his decision to use it pull himself out of the harmful rut he was in.
