if we have to listen to shane warne on our cricket commentary calling us poms whats the problem with calling a aussie skippy?

I see alot of you guys and the housemates mention the fact he's Australian to insult him.

It happened to Noirin and Caoimhe too with them being Irish and now it's with John, quite pathetic how alot of you act like that for example:

'I hate that Aussie ***** get him out'

It makes it sound like because he's Aussie he should leave.

'I hate that Irish ***** Noirin uggh'

So because she's Irish she's a *****?


And Dave:
'I'm going to teach that Aussie a thing or two about how to be a good boy'

Sounds like he's highlighting the fact he's Australian to put him down.

You make a somewhat valid point, BUT i think you're being a little precious, a bit overly PC. Because what happens if "differences" are forbidden to be talked of...you end up in a scenario like in BB for example, where everyone would be unable to even mention someone is Australian or Irish, in further fear of the PC police!

I don't think it's seen as racist. It's just an Austrailan term that probably most Austrailans use, it's just John isn't one of them
