It also speaks to the immaturity of a lot of John James fans because what they want is Hollyoaks plots or what they consider 'exciting' is the most superficial of drama.

Let me say I am NOT trying to counter this by insisting Steve or Dave are the most exciting people on the planet,
but,
What I am saying is that there 'dull' and 'exciting' is not the only measure in existence and it doesn't go on a superficial scale of 'WHO IS KISSING THE MOST WOOOOO!'.

In fact, I have found it very interesting to see Steve cope with young silly people,
or,
soldier on as the 'rock' for most of them at some point,
and,
occasionally giving some insight into his attempted murder or how he deals with it positively.
Steve dealing with missing his family has been some heart-wrenching moments in the season.

Again, I am not touting Steve as 'Mr.Excitement' but this is communicating to younger people (or the superficial ones) that there is more that makes up people than "Who has the petty argument and later kisses in bed!!!".
and anything less is 'more dull'.

I mean I suppose that IS how someone 16 years old DOES see things because they can't yet take in more complex and deeper aspects of life,
and,
we were all like that too. Its not a crime to be at that station in life,
but,
try and go forward.

One thing we all may agree with - JJ2 is about as interesting and active as wallpaper.
I was actually more interested in watching the paint dry than watching JJ2 on the highlights. I mean I actually went to see if it was drying during his segments which seem to be him 'doing nothing at all'.

Do you know what WOULD be interesting?
If JJ was gone now.
Then you would see a whole new dynamic open up in there.

JJ is actually one of the main things right now 'locking up' the house.

But hey.. ewwwwwww maybe him and Josie will KISSSS WEEEEEEE!!!
