Do you honestly think that if Ben took that stuff as "serious", that they would be friends? ...it's a comedy duo!!! nothing more.
Ben wasn't there ... I don't know what you saw .. if it was in the taskroom slagging Ben off and ending up with that remark, then you are not being honest ... it wasn't ambiguous .. he was serious !
Yes, I think Ben would still be his friend for two reasons:
Ben is much too nice for his own good.
Ben has more Christian goodness than Dave could ever even aspire to.
Comedy duo? Only to Bens face, on his own Dave used Ben as his fallguy/stooge ... thats exactly what he's doing now on LF!

I saw it, it was in the kitchen after he left...when Dave was going into the fridge. The humour is - having a laugh about Ben's behaviour once he's gone - and that's acceptable in their friendship, if it wasn't Ben would have had a go at him when he was in the house (from footage he's seen since he left), as another poster said it was NOT malicious.

Honestly...tell me, who in their right mind believes that someone is a "common criminal for stealing a cookie"?

Again : I'm beginning to think thats just it, Dave isn't right-minded! He had been bitching about Ben, saying Ben was a thief etc etc ... he then embarked on the Cookie remark which yes, is a stupid thing to be serious about ... but he did!!

So, you honestly believe that Dave thinks Ben is a thief because he took a cookie from the fridge?

I think you're taking things way too serious and literally.

He does it with everyone. Lights the fuse and then steps back.

I cannot remember a christian remark coming out of his mouth.
