In 1939, when I was a little boy of ten yrs old. Britain declared war on Germany.
And when I was quizzing my father about the horrors of what was to come for our boys over the next few months..(as we all thought it would be then!)..he told me straight!(he had fought in the trenches in the first world war!)...I remember that it scared the living daylights out of me!....And so when I proposed that , GOD would be on our side, and that he would take care of 'all the good people'...(meaning 'US', of course!)...It was then that he told me that there was no GOD!...He explained to me how impossible it was for there to be a god!....To cut a long story short....though it terrified me...I believed him!...And still do to this day! Even in my darkest days..(the death of my perfect wife, and family+friends etc)...though I pray, and try to 'believe' ,to gain some kind of comfort....in my heart...I knew that there was no GOD! But...NEVER!...Would I EVER!...Tell someone who does 'believe', ...that they're wrong!! I am of the view that ....Anything that makes someone feel better, in certain times...is priceless!...And should'nt be knocked!! And so, although I dont particularly like Rasputin,....I think that it is wrong to belittle his beliefs!! Sorry for the sombre tones!....But i'm tired , and tend to get a little serious when i'm ready for bed! So let's just talk about him being a two faced twat instead!!

You have to be careful though, saying there is no God, you never know he might rig the votes so that Dave wins, just to have a laugh at people who deny his existence. Apparently he works in mysterious ways.
