Very few had potential.
Sunshine is the obvious one, real but quirky. I don't know why anyone lists Ben, he had weeks in there and was given alot of limelight with twists as well. We saw everything we could have seen from him. We saw enough of Corin as well. And as for the walkers, well they obviously didn't have what it takes to live in the BB house. Of the new HMs it's hard to say how different they might have been if in from the start.
