Most cases of rape arent reported anyway, the woman is too ashamed etc to report it. Of those that do less that 10% actually go to court.

Its probably a bit lower at about 6-8% of reported rapes actually get through to succesfully being prosecuted.

Its disgusting really. More should be done to ensure victims feel confident and secure enough to report it and go forward with a prosecution.
