So is being a transexual a mental disability? or a bad life choice? I'm genuine with these questions.

ok ...well there is a persons sex ie if they are physically male or female and a persons gender (what they feel they are inside)..again male or female...sex and gender are usually the same , but not always and some people choose to alter their sex to match their gender...it's simple really...a person who alters their sex is a transsexual which can be a pre op or post op transsexual... some people don't have an operation or even take hormones but feel they are a different gender or like to express a different gender by the way they dress....the umbrella term is trans-gender.

none of these things in themselves are mental disabilities or bad life choices (according to 99.99% of psychologists/psychiatrists etc) and they are not necessarily connected with sexuality (gay str8 or bi). you also get people who like to dress up as the opposite sex sometimes for fun or entertainment ...this is called 'drag' and is different from trans-gender. also you get guys that get a sexual kick out of wearing womens under wear usually in private for sex play, this is also a different thing and is more of a sexual kink , often described as transvestite tendencies. Of course like the rest of us these people can also suffer from various forms of illness mental or otherwise and like everyone else can make bad choices.

So what ever your personal opinions, those are the facts of what people are doing out there as i understand it.

Tears of self pity - the bitch knew exactly what she had done but her massive ego couldn't handle the fact that the public have seen through her. Big Brother is about acceptance or rejection, and if you can't handle rejection you shouldn't be on it. She thought nothing of reducing other HMs to tears in the house, so what's with all this sympathy - she deserved what she got - what goes around comes around.

I am frankly bemused at all the self righteous indignation on this forum for somebody who showed herself to be a malicious, spiteful person who, because she is feeling bad about herself, decides to spread the misery. Having successfully seen off Josie and Coolio, it would have been Chantelle and Ulrika next. If you can't take it, don't dish it out.

Being transexual/transgendered is literally being "born in the wrong body". For example, it's like you being born with a female body. Your a male, but your exterior is female. Imagine how that would feel...

Sometimes it's more appearent cases where kids know as young as the age of 3 that they are "born in the wrong body" while others may not come out about it until an older age because it's not 'socially acceptable' or because they are confused/don't understand it.

I'm not what you'd call a Nadia fan but I felt that Davina's biased interview was a major catalyst. She was treading on eggshells with Makosi who was a nightmare then got her pound of flesh out of Nadia who let's face it has been worse than what we've seen in UBB. The interview concentrated too much on the negative. It also gave me the feeling that Nikki is being set up as the winner.... again.

Felt so sorry for Nadia last night. She just speaks her mind and is very honest about her opinions! why can't people just accept that's the way she is! We are all very different in our ways, we shouldn't be strung up for our opinions!

A lot of the people are accepting her for the way she is but just don't like her. Their opinion should be accepted as well.

I didn't like Nadia back in BB5 but she was a bit funnier then than now. I thought she didn't behave well, she didn't then and especially she didn't now. However, I understand she must be devastated now. She wanted to win and she thought she was going to. She also thought she was going to be loved by everybody like the last time, so coming out into that crowd reaction must have been a huge shock. She just needs help now but she has to be responsible for her actions as well which doesn't always mean saying "well, I have an opinion and I spoke my mind". Sometimes we have to know when to back down as well and when to apologise.

I didn't like Nadia at all but last night I hated the booers for booing someone so obviously disraught about not getting their mitts on 200 grand. It's this sort of rejection that can lead to suicide. The booing is integral in what has dragged the show down over the years.

This. Nadia is an adult and makes her own decisions. Six years ago she had her 'journey' of acceptance and we related to it not realising underneath was a vile self centred vicious bitch. This time she had nothing to hide behind.

Her treatment by the crowd was harsh but look at the way she treats other people. Angus is right, what goes around comes around.

I am not nor was a Coolio fan. But it angered me that he was basically made to leave by the massive overreaction that Nadia had to his wind up. Not a thing was said to her for her spitting on his duvet or the subsequent crotch rubbing.

Likewise i don't like Ulrika much either, but Nadia's completely our of order reaction to plategate was another example of how she has changed in the last few years.

I am likewise dubious as to John James' genuine thoughts towards Josie, i think that he loves her like a sister rather than in any romantic way. But Nadia's downfall was airing these views to Josie as soon as they met

The crowd are very much like a panto audience, have been for years, Nadia will be quite aware of this, as will they all.
Nadia just can not accept that she is not universally liked/loved.
Very much the Diva, and vile with it. It is her personality, she was the same on the Come Dine with me according to Brian. Her rant about how much Ulrika was getting paid showed not only how jealous and bitter she is, but how she thinks she is the same as a celebrity.
Her not going on the BBBM show was more than likely a big strop. She does not deserve her fee if she does not carry out her contractual duties.
Very pleased that she was voted out last night. It should lighten the mood in the house.

Some of us got that the last time too and were vilified because of it. I think it is basically for the reason that you mentioned just now. Nadia's "story" didn't affect our judgement of her real character. I think the same might happen again if this years BB winner should ever surface again.

I just wish they wouldn't do the interviews outside, I want to see the interview even if I don't like the person but the idiots in the crowd feel the need to boo through it. Spoils it, much as I hated Skippy I wanted to see him answer the questions which had the interview been outside we wouldn't have.

All this hate for Nadia because of her opinion on the awful John James and Josie is pathetic. Why wasn't John Mcc hated so much, he went on and on about John James to Josie but hardly anything was said. She wasn't mean to anyone, she actually liked Josie and she said she wanted her to win, she just didn't like John James (which I thought most of the public didn't either but now they seem to love him again, did the viewing public see how he spoke to Rachel) and the whole "relationship" situation.

Apparently she never went on because Davina made fun of her before she was meant to go on

So you think it is acceptable for Coolio to constantly ask 'do you have a penis?' and that if he could 'get one of the girls to look up her skirt and check'?

I suspect Nadia decided, long before the comment, she couldn't face the BBBM audience.

Davina was probably annoyed about it - and hence the comment.

no disrespect to you , but i've been thinking about the whole panto metaphor and really i think that's just something said to soothe the contestants, it's actually not a panto and they are real people.

I know it is not really a panto (honest). I know it is real people, but the whole crowd attitude in the past few years has become very much panto like. I don't know why, but they tend to boo the really pleasant housemates as well. I have a feeling that someone could be stood with a board telling them when to boo or not. Perhaps this is what started it all.
The majority of housemates now half expect to get booed on their departure, normally it does turn to cheers though.

I did not like Nadia's attitude in the houe, but I would like to think every housemate gets a couple of cheers at least as they will all have some fans.

I'm with this.
Although I don't think the booers actually realise that it is not panto. These kind of people can't seem to separate "scripted drama" from "reality TV" (however real it is/isn't). To them is all just "stuff on the telly" with no repercussions and the people in it can just slip back into "real life" once the credits role. They wouldn't boo members of their own family for doing the exact same things that the HMs do FFS. That's how you get drama queens like Nikki, Makosi etc. getting so much adoration (because these people think it's not real) if you knew a-holes like them in real life you'd avoid them like the plague.
