He was kicked out for breaking the rules...not playing the game. Games have rules. Like, duh.
Truth is, he was a dull HM 10 years ago and he's even duller now. The only interesting things he's ever done was pass notes around and make up stories about wives being killed in Australia. He's the ultimate BORE not the ultimate HM. |

Sorry but I have to disagree, I doubt BB would be the programme it is today without him. It probably would have fizzled out that summer without his antics. |

This notion that he was the sole reason for BBs success is utter BS. Not that he had any clue what he was doing anyway; I always thought his tactics painfully stupid! BB was an international phenomenon. It was the format that made it a success...not bloody boring Nick Bateman! He was just one little UK storyline. And the guy is clearly not exciting to watch. So ultimate HM my ass. |

If you don't want to think of his contribution to the show as being anything other than a bore then why not think what life has been life for the guy the last 10 years outside of the house being known to the entire nation as "Nasty" for something that would have gone without incident in this series. You might say that was then and this is now but the fact is that he is still known as "Nasty Nick" for something that happened back then. Wouldn't it be nice if we forgave him? It wouldn't harm anyone else if he did win would it?

Who gives a toss about his redemption? Im sure people are well over the whole incident, actually. You overestimate how seriously people take it or even care. He was quite happy to cash in on the name afterwards I seem to remember; accepting every tv job he could get. That was HIS CHOICE to run with the title Nasty Nick. Truth is he embraced it totally. He was just a pantomime villain at best. And what became of his TV career? It fizzled out rapidly! So much for him being the saviour of TV shows then... The guy is an uptight, twitchy bore. More anal than Brian ever could be. And the idea that he should win BB as some kind of redemption..full circle...fitting finale...whatever...is the biggest load of shyte ever. He's the ultimate BB cheat. That is all. So it would be a PERVERSE ending. |

Nobody says Nick is the 'sole reason' but then lets give credit where it was due - that was massive! Absolutely massive. It was a 'national moment' and it was even 'international' and it did change the game. Who cares about redemption? Why shouldn't we? It's not something 'truly important' who wins UBB, but, Why not have a sort of story here. A fun full-circle. Why not give the short-changed guy a credit. And try to have a sense of humour here. This is about having a fun ending. |
