I did abit of reading up on it and apparently it happens with the R4i cards sometimes, acecards are better for the newer dsis apparently. I'll have to order one and a new micro sd  |
Go back to the R4i site and make sure you have downloaded the latest correct version of the software for your R4, there are several available, install it onto the r4 then try your micros sd card again.
It is important you identify the correct card you have first, then the latest upgrade for that card. There was a problem with one of the larger uk based r4 sites just after christmas this year they had the wrong software under the various links.
Reformat your SD card.
