Exclamation An interesting pattern...

Right, it's hard to explain but here goes.

BB3 had a swirly/circular eye and it was generally seen as a brilliant series.

BB4 had a multi-coloured eye and was generally seen as a sh!t series.

BB5 had a sharp eye and was generally seen as a return to form.

Ignoring BB6, the exact same thing happens again!

BB7 had a swirly/circular eye and it was generally seen as a brilliant series.

BB8 had a multi-coloured eye and was generally seen as a sh!t series.

BB9 had a sharp eye and was generally seen as a return to form.

Hmm I guess you are right.

I would disagree slightly with BB9 though. It was an ok series and I honestly don't understand how some on here can praise it so much? I t was good but some parts of it was so half assed.

I think it was sh!t, but was still much better than the trollop that was BB8 and is generally seen as a return to form.

What about them? The BB10 eye is nothing like the BB6 one.

BB6 eye was similar to BB5 and 9 (broken, edges, 'sharp') and that was an awesome series.

BB9 returned to form for 30 days. I agree with BB4 but Im watching BB8 again now and it's really not that bad.. until day 59 and 62 obviously.

No it wasn't, and you're not understanding the ****ing point.

The point is that...

BB3 - good with a swirly eye
BB4 - bad with a colourful eye
BB5 - return to form with sharp eye

BB7 - good with a swirly eye
BB8 - bad with a colourful eye
BB9 - return to form with sharp eye

^ OH I do apologize but there's no need to swear, love.

Anyway, your 'pattern' is flawed if BB6 isn't even counted.

Sorry.

I don't think it's flawed, BB6 is just a random gap. It's not like the BB10 eye is similair to BB6's and that BB6 is better than BB5, because generally BB10 is seen as better than BB9.

No.

It was brilliant.
It's very under rated, hardly praised.

Phlip was right, it was turn around type of series like BB5.

BB8 and CBB5 and BBCH were sh*t and CBB5 and BB8 SLAUGHTERED Big Brother and I still stand by that's why BB is no longer with us.

Big Brother 9 was like the light.
It turned it around.

Had BB9 happened in the days of 2004-2006 it would of went down as one of the best series in more people's eyes than just mine and a few others on here.

I think if BB9 had been the last series like this year it would of sent BB out with a bang but then again 2008 was amazing and BB9 just topped it off so I guess I'm glad it was in Summer 2008 lol

By who exactly?

BB10 is seen as a god awful series in alot of people's eyes, I personally enjoyed it And I think it and BB9 and BB11 infact all deserved abit more credit than what they got because BB8 was SO OVER RATED.

The tasks in BB10 were horrible and just the same every week, BB9 had a diverse bunch of tasks as did BB11.

The housemates in BB10 were horrible at the time but looking back I loved them just as I did with BB9s, meh same can't be said for BB11 unfortunatly.

No twists what so ever happened in BB10, BB11 may of had like 1 though.

But yeah I don't think it's generally seen better, most people from what I read on here and on other sites think of BB9 and especially Series 11 as better.

Exactly, the only reason it's a pattern is because you've ignored one series to make it so

Hmm I agree on some bits that bb9 was good. But in comparison to earlier seasons, it was pretty craptacular. Some of the tasks were ill-thought out -- I remember a slew of dancing tasks and I thought that was really repetitive. The twists were also poorly executed such as heaven and hell, or in other words Rich and Poor (circa BB3) with a new name slapped on it. But the cast was bang on perfect though. I just don't think the producers saw the potential and didn't exploit it. Oh and the house was awesome too (but nothing compared to BB11/BB7 in my mind lol)!

BB8 is one of the most underrated series ever. People talk about it like it was the worst ever. I'm watching it right now, and I think it's ****ing amazing. It by far has the best arguements of any series. Yes, it has a few faults (too many housemates, bad tasks, a bit drawn out), but it also had some of the most brilliant and entertaining housemates ever. BB11 is literally a piece of **** stuck to my shoe in comparison. I think the fact that it followed the best series ever, BB7, it made it seem less good. But if it came after BB11, it would be one of the best ever. It was also CONSISTENTLY highly rated throughout the entire series in the 4 million region. Ratings never dropped, and the finale had fantastic ratings. This proves it was a good series. Whereas with BB11, ratings dropped majorly.

BB9 is overrated, it is certainly not the best series ever. It was one of the best, sure, but IMO BB10 was a tad better. BB10 was the most underrated series ever though. It was never, ever boring to me.

The only truly **** series of Big Brother was series 4, the rest were all great shows, just some better than others.
