Why didn't the Conservatives oppose the war like the Lib Dems did? Everybody knew the reason for invasion was spurious.
I thought The Special Relationship on BBC the other week showed some insight into Blair's thinking, (if realistic), and although Blair did bend the truth out of shape altogether to persuade parliament and sell the war, I think he thought he was doing the right thing.
