I cant believe how many people are jumping on the Cher bandwagon!

Yes she had a good first audition but her performance at bootcamp was very average and at judges houses she was utter ****e! So she is actually getting worse each time she performs!
Yes she is different, but individuality alone does not make someone a good singer. They need the vocals to match, and Cher is simply not up to scratch!

People seriously need to open their eyes and see that there are much much much better singers in that catagory who perform CONSISTANTLY WELL such as rebecca, keri and treyc!

The problem is that rapping and hip hop is favoured these days over actual singing because most people have lost all sense of musical taste.

, last year was all about Danyl and Jedward anyway plus Cher will probably have the Diana Vickers effect.. Diana is doing well, despite the detractors wishing her to fail so is having the last laugh

Diana is different. She is good singer. I wasnt a fan but gave her credit for at least having some vocal chops.

Cher She seems like the kind of singer who can sing hooks, and does have a kind of hip hop style, but definitely not a LEAD vocalist.

I can see it. I dont quite believe it but I wouldnt be surprised if she went thru. IF she does go thru it will the biggest injustice of the whole show and I hope people feel sorry for the other girls who put in good performance but were not the judges faves.

True. She isnt either a good vocalist or a decent rapper - and in this day and age you only need to be decent.

I like Cher doing Rap etc, she could have stuck to the now tiresome cheesy pop route that XF normally want their acts to go down.. but has chosen not to and stuck to what she feels she is comfortable doing and not what others want her to do and I think good on her

As much as I am not a fan of that kind of chart music, I can see that she isn't even up to that sort of level.. To me she's just a kid who's playing at being a "cool" artist. SHe's crap! Fact!

Do you watch American Idol? There was a bloke in season 7 called Blake Lewis (I think) and he was much the same but he COULD rap and had vocal ability. HE made the final but lost to Jordin Sparks. Maybe they think Cher is as close as we're gonna get to him.

Omg I loved Blake. Well wanted him to win from the beginning and everything! Jordin was good too though, and since AI she's become better I swear.
