What a silly thing to say. The very idea that you need to have a great voice yourself to judge others is so bogus. We all have ears an opinions. And following your logic NONE of the judges should be there. Indeed most judges on most talent shows all over the world shouldnt be there!

Cheryl came from these TV talent shows. In that respect she is more qualified than all the judges because she knows exactly how they are feeling and what it takes to succeed. She has also tasted huge success in both a group AND a solo artist. She knows the business and what they will be required to do...all the hard work, all the media crap. EVERYTHING.

So piss off with all this "she isnt qualified" BS. She most certainly is....far more so than Louis or even Simon. They are just 2 middle aged business men with the musical taste of 2 middle aged women. Cheryl knows more about whats current and what is in the charts.

Both Simon and Louis have had MANY failed acts. Louis has been dining out on Boyzone and Westlife(both huge covers acts) for over 10 years. Until talent shows gave him more acts to manage he struggled to have any other successes. Thats the truth of it.

Cheryl LIVES the business. She does what the winning acts will be doing. She lives the life they will be living. The singing part is a small part of it all actually. Mostly its about travelling, interviews, photoshoots, rehearsals and dealing with media nonsense.

Simon and Louis just sit around making most decisions by phone and letting their choreographers and producers etc do the real job of making the music and creating the performances. Again, they are businessmen. They have zero creativity and don't understand it from the artists perspective. Cheryl does.

Cheryl is a disaster, she only won last year by pure luck at A - Having a good singer in her group and B - having no real competition.

besides Joe last year who did she choose??? I rest my case.

Louis did wonders with Jedward, who lets face it, have no talent. That shows how good he is at his job.

actually simon owns a record label and louis manages musicians,so they deserve to be there more than somebody that cant sing,makes crap records and really shouldnt be judging people that sing better than her.

maybe she wants to eliminate any competition (which would wipe out most of the population). I can't get my head round her choosing someone who's voice was obviously strained over Gamu who sang effortlessly. If nothing else it would have been kinder to Cher to have her try again say next year. I am starting to detest Cheryl Twitty as much as Katie Price - both fame hungry wh**e's
