Oh what nonsense Cheryl talks. she thinks she is Miss Personality plus,that she can do no wrong.
She has underestimated the intelligence of the viewers of whom the majority can see that she put through acts who were useles.
The X Factor has 3 stages before the 'live' shows for one major reason to weed out the weak acts,

The first stage is the auditions, where loads of acts are put through to boot camp.Once that's done the auditions are completed.
The second stage is to test the acts anew at boot camp whereby those who fail to impress with the songs they sing and perform will go as selections are made for the last and main part of selection at judges houses.
The third stage is the selection process for the 'live' shows,there, the Judge/mentor should really test all the acts they have to find out who can take the pressure,who sang in tune and well, who performed the song given to them with enthusiasm and who took on the song and learned the words.

Cheryl feels like a scapegoat, its always someone else to blame with Cheryl, she made the choices and she chose 2 acts who did 'none' yes 'none' of any of the things expected at the judges house, thereby proving the need for the 3 stages to ensure that the auditions were not a fluke or one off performance.

If Cheryl doesn't understand that, then its a mystery what she is doing judging or mentoring on Xfactor at all.
