Yeah you pretty much need to have 2 number 1's to be considered as successful.

yeah, considering it'll probably be the lead in single for his album it needs to be a hit and considering how terrible the song is it's not gonna do as well as the last song. The only thing he has potentially working in his favour is an X Factor performance.

The next one will do ok (if he performs it on XF,) as will the album, but after that he's destined to fail

There is no doubt Joe is a good singer but in my eyes I don't see him as a recording artist. It seems to be mostly the women who do well after the X Factor. I don't hear Joes song and think wow I must go out and buy that.
