9/11 i remember coming back from school and turning on the telly to watch some cartoons and then i saw this! i couldnt believe my eyes even though i was 12 at the time and my parent were out so it was just me, my sister and lil bro in the house it was so ****ing scary...

The Chilean miner thing was endearing, and showed what can happen when people believe in what they are doing and put their all into it.
The attacks on 11 September had more of an effect at work. But was sort of shrugged off in a way. The 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami was quite emotional for me. Probably the biggest single thing that affected me in life was the Lockerbie Disaster. Last edited by Shasown; 16-10-2010 at 03:44 AM. |

9/11. I must have been only around 7 or 8 at the time but I remember it happening as I was on a plane just before it happened [going in Spain though] and when we got to the hotel it was all over the news and everybody was just watching in shock.
and MJ death was also horrible for me, I cried alot and watched like almost every TV programme that was on about him at the time.
