Thats's the attitude it would be a great experience to have ,and if worse comes to worse and they say No , you can at least tell Cheryl about her poor singing/judging ability in person lol

I will!! In a local competition I made it to semi finals. I went to x factor twice but was to nervous to carry the notes so I only made it to the first stage. Without Simon there it won't be as good.

Tip though, if you're not good be a comedian. The guy in the chicken suit from the auditions last year I was close to him! He was entertaining people during the wait but after a while it got tiring. I can't believe he got through.

They let some truly amazing people slip through so nobody knows what they look for specifically in first auditions.

Yeah, I hear alot of great singers dont get through! Leona Lewis didnt get by the year before! :O
I keep thinking ahead when the producers will probably not even put me through, lol!

I'd audition if I 1) was confident enough, 2) put a group together, 3) could be bothered auditioning several times, 4) wanted my life ruined by the media and 5) had a sob story.

People are jumping the gun a bit with their talk of meeting the judges and being on tv etc. Someone I know auditioned and got to through 2 stages but failed at the 3rd pre-audition. I'm not sure how many there are in total but you dont audition for the judges straight away like the show makes out.
