One of my flatmates last year said that too; apparently the eggs get contaminated by the smells of other things in the fridge?

I'm sure what my flatmate said was probably wrong, she was a bit dippy but she never put her eggs in the fridge for some reason, I do know that much!

Yea happy, about fridge, she may be right but I do not know.

What I wanted to say was put pointed side at the bottom and round side at the top would keep eggs last long.

I always wanted to try one day to compare (experiment) but eat them before trying it out.
