Well he likes digging, isn't afraid of getting his hands dirty and isn't bothered by bad smells.....might be an option for him

He's made it clear he likes animals, mares in particular even ones that smell so bad other people comment on the stench. He's a bit of a tool himself so perhaps that's all part of the lure of being associated with gardening.
