It is if you want grown up conversations,but there seems to be plenty of kids who just want to play and be silly,it's got very boring of late,it's no wonder people are drifting off,I miss the people I can have good conversations with,I'm still here hoping they will post more.

Yes sometimes I want to join in and am very interested in the topic, but it can get so far off topic sometimes its a bit difficult to comment and bring it back so I dont always bother.

Exactly,so many good posters don't post often now,I mean who really wants to see threads with one word or icon all the way down it,the art of conversation is not alive and well on here at the moment,it's a shame as there are some nice people on here.

I've seen this forum die slowly for ages now. It used to be alot of fun to come on here and have debates and there was always plenty to do. It just seems that people come on here now to cause arguements or chat about irrelevant things.

I only joined last year and didn't stay on after BB so dont know how quiet it usually gets this time of year. I like the XFactor gossip yeah, but wish the more serious and general chat topice would get going a bit more. The great thing about debate is that you can have such diverse views yet its not a personal thing at all and I hate the way some posters start to get quite insulting because you dont agree with them. After all there is no right or wrong - only opinions

I suppose though, the people who are complaining about the lack of interesting conversations etc will have to be a bit pro-active and start some threads to try and kick start things!

Yeah. The trouble is alot of the time on here (and I used to be the same) you can get really friendly with someone and as soon as you disagree on something you take that as a personal insult when infact it's a matter of opinions.
It's great to grow friendships from the site and I have made alot of good friends from here, there are loads of genuine nice people that do visit this site, but you do need that distance sometimes and just learn not to take things so seriously. I suppose I am talking from experience and people will learn with age.

I understand what you're saying but (and I know this will be unpopular to say) sometimes it feels that most of the posters left are kind of in their own little clique and trying to join a thread and being ignored is bad enough. I know that sounds whingy and lame even as I type it. I don't mind being totally disagreed with but its hard to maintain enthusiasm when it sometimes feels people are more interested in private conversations and obviously know each other really well too, which is cool and great and everything but I am a sensitive soul and feel like the geek nobody wants to play with sometime - there I said it - phew
