I think if Mario is getting abuse he has invited it himself, decent people don't like to see disloayalty and backstabbing,2 things Mario was very good at in the house.

Mario's true colours really showed as the show went on, it was clear that any who wouldn't do what he wanted then he would turn on them and he called Ben a Frienf and then turned on him once he saw he was never going to get what he really wanted from Ben.

Mario has so many faces,he could have given all the other housemates another face each and he'd still have 2 left for himself.
