Which person was it that Mario decided to select during the save and replace task........ I know the answer, just wondering who else recalls how much of a loyal friend Mario thinks he is.!!!! Seems that Mario, apart from being disloyal to his 'friends', also might suffer a little bit of amnesia.

LauraC, I have never bullied Mario over the fact that Ben and him aren't friends -to be brutally honest I couldn't give two figs.

I think what upsets non-Mario fans whether they support Ben or others is that we all get lumped into a category and tarred with the same brush. I am an individual and have my own opinion - Mario is a 30 year old man who knows better. If one or two non-mario fans are unkind to him, I don't condone it. The word bully is being used wrongly here and shouldn't be used as it upsets people.

As I and several other posters have said Ben and Mario aren't and weren't friends - end of - that is just a fact. Why is this a diservice to Ben? Ben is an individual who can look after himself. What someone says on an internet forum is their opinion about a tv show and behaviour after.

I throughly dislike Mario. I have a thousand reason why. I'm more than happy to continue listing them. This is a forum to discuss our views on housemates.

I feel you should note one thing. Mario is not Ben's friend - for one reason - Ben made that choice - not Mario.

Ben wants nothing to do with Mario. Mario needs to accept that.

As for Mario himself, I find him to be childish in the extreme. Highly immature. Given the slight age differences between Mario and Ben, it is very clear who more emotionally developed, and who is the more rounded, well balanced person. That's my opinion, that's not abuse.

But you all jumped on mario because he said that the ben fans who were abusing him are idiots, you all took that personally therefore you are the ones who are grouping yourselves together and flying under the same flag.
I think you are doing ben a disservice because Ben didn't like mario he bitched about him that's fine, he has to live with the consequences of that and he is, that's the loss of mario's friendship, that's between the two of them but when you see mario abused on forums and done under ben's name people remember the bad things about ben and not the good.
Every time I see another thread like this one, Is mario jealous of ben? I just remember all the horrible things ben has said and done. You are not giving people the chance to forget

I think you should save your Ben pity, its not needed, Ben has full respect for people who love and care for him, he loves and cares for them in return, or have you never listened to what one of his much loved friends has to say about him.A friend who is privvy to his life and shares the warmth and love and respect of Ben.
You are mistaking alliances within the house for that of friendship, I remember Ben quite openly stating on many occasions that he did not view the housemates as friends in the true sense of the word, indeed he said he could not forsee anything other than aqquaintance with them, only later on did he say that he thought he might stay in touch with Dave and Corin.

Ben is a people watcher, he picks up on the traits and charachteristics of those around him and brings it out in humour, its an observation and analysis and Mario was not the only one to be spoken of in that way, Its funny and the other housemates thought so too.If you watch The JJJ interview with Sam Dean you will even hear JJ saying that Ben was the most hilarious, funny and entertaining guy he had ever come across, and that his comments were down to the fact that Ben is just being Ben in his honesty.

Everyone who meets Ben seems to say the same thing, Bianca on Coach Trip is full of praise for him, her words, Amazing, funny, intelligent,. caring.

Now I want to ask you a question, you say that you would not be friends with someone who had bitched about you, what if you had a friend who was constantly sexually harrasing you,if all they talked about was what they wanted to do with you, and what if you tried to talk to this person about it but they would not do so but instead gave you the silent treatment, started sulking and being moody, would you accept it and carry on that friendship in the same vein, or would you talk to someone else about it, question what could be meant by their behaviour, I know what I would do.....and I certainly would not consider that person a friend.I would think them a stalker and call the police, and I would talk about them to my friends because I would need to have some sort of understanding of why they were doing it.
Lets not forget that Ben only turned on Mario because of Mario's behaviour towards him, not the other way round.

I think you will find that Truth Teller was not taking anything personally but was simply reporting on what Mario himself stated about Ben fans.

In doing so, Mario therefore distanced himself even further - alienated himself further.

I really don't understand the 'doing Ben a disservice' idea comes into play. Ben doesn't use the internet much. He certainly doesn't read the forums, doesn't do twitter, is very much is own man, with his own life outwith webland (clearly he has a far more fulfilling life than any of us posting on here !! LOL )

You may indeed recall things that Ben did or said that you view or consider horrible. That is your perogative.

Just as it is my perogative to view many things that I saw and heard from Mario that I found deeply unsettling, and not to put too fine a point on it... creepy and skin crawling. Are these harsh words? Yes, they are. But that is the impression that Mario made on me. I can't change that. The only person who could have, would have been Mario.

If he had taken stock once the show was over, he could have redeemed himself, but he didn't. He continued in the same way that I saw him be in the house, immature, bitter and had himself up on some pedestal. He continues to think like this as seen by his twitterings.

If I liked the person who was coming onto me and I didn't like them back like that I'd just tell them nicely that I would like to be friends and nothing more, I wouldn't flirt with them the way ben flirted with mario, that's just giving the wrong signals.

Mario is the one carrying around the bitterness because Ben rejected him (rejected him on the basis of Mario's continued sexual advances).

Ben tried to discuss the matter whilst in the house with Mario if you recall. Mario being immature Mario, wasn't interested in discussing it with Ben. It was at that juncture that Ben realised that Mario was indeed not a 'friend' .... that all Mario wanted was to get Ben in the sack.

That if you recall, is more the truth of the matter.

Ben made it clear he wasnt interested in any sexual advances, he made it clear that flirting was flirting. I'll put it to you this way: Mario also flirted with Corin...... should she have made it clear that she wasn't interested? Mario may have have been bisexual for all anyone knew.....

Mario continued relentlessly with Ben. To the point that he literally forced Ben to pull away from him.

Mario could be doing with some 'self awareness' lessons - he may not even be aware of how he is around males that he 'fancies'.
