LOL - I've just done a naughty............

The woman who really took a shine to me at the German wedding I attended in September had emailed to tell me she'd been shopping on Saturday, talked with Santa and then bought me a really good Christmas present (she seemed really excited about this).

I felt a bit embarrassed about all this and in a slightly silly mood so replied I was Jewish so have no belief in Christ/Christmas/Santa.

She's emailed back all apologetic and asking me not to take offence. I now don't know how to tell her it was just a wicked/silly joke by me - OOPS
