It's not actually grammatically incorrect to start a sentence with a conjunction, it's just discouraged.

Christ, you're not offending me, don't be daft, no apologies needed!

I thought it was incredibly funny. Even funnier was the fact when I said that, she still didn't suss out why I was laughing. When the penny dropped, she was mortified. Clearly, her mind is not in the gutter the way mine must be!
