We would need desert like weather to dispose of the snow thats here

Same - and where it's been piled high to clear pathways through, some of it will still be there mid-January

Yeah I know.

The bloody tractors keep coming round here making everything worse...piling the snow into mountains in the middle of the roads, and leaving the ice there...surely its better trying to drive on snow than on ice

It was quite funny yesterday though...they came round piling the snow up again. The neighbour had spent about half an hour digging his car out. The tractors then deposited the snow right behind his car He was fuming and I stood laughing, dont like him anyways

Like him or not, I think I'd have laughed too. Saw it happen years ago now though, one of those 'not funny, but very funny' situations!!
