The live show opened with confirmation that Ashley Peacock had died in the Joinery in Wednesday's episode and ended with the deaths of Peter Barlow and Molly Dobbs.

Peter passed away after marrying Leanne Battersby on his deathbed. :'(

Was it just me or when the shot cut to Becky sitting in the alley you could hear a bloke counting down. Was that supposed to be the emergency services people or the director letting Kath Kelly know when she's on? She looked up pretty suddenly and then legged it.

I think it was rescuers counting to lift something up, as soon as they did, she ran down the alley

Just bit of dodgy acting from Clare and Fiz. Afraid Corrie just showed you how it's done Eastenders. I remember EE had countless camera jerks and fluffed lines.

Also, my mum kept mentioning how Peter looked a bit too lively. His eyes were bright and then she suggested maybe the actor downed something to calm his nerves beforehand. lol.

This storyline is 10 times bigger than Bradley dieing, yet it feels like a normal episode...?

Because EastEnders live ep was full of mistakes... fluffed lines, sound problems, camera men tripping etc... Corrie was flawless & was on for an HOUR!

All I can say is AMAZING! Had you not known it was live you would never have known. Great acting too...

I have a feeling that Peter isn't actually dead, as we saw him go into cardiac arrest & they were putting the defibrillator on him, he wasn't declared dead...

Could they be doing the same sly trick they did with the factory explosion? I mean saying that a couple of well known characters would die, when infact only Tony & that bloke he met in prison did... Maybe Ashley, Molly, Charlotte & the random bloke in the car are the four deaths? Otherwise what was the point of the firemen mentioning that the bloke in the car had died??

I hope Peter dies, tbh if he had the amount of pressure on his heart, a defibrillator can't do him that much good
