OUTRAGED model Katie Price lodged an official complaint with Ofcom last night over Frankie Boyle’s “jokes” about her disabled son Harvey.

She took her case to the media watchdog after Channel 4 failed issue an official apology before a 5pm deadline set by her lawyer, Mark Bateman.

He filed papers with Ofcom alleging the broadcaster and Boyle’s comments about the eight-year-old boy had breached the “harm and offence” clause of the Broadcasting Code.

Broadcasting watchdog Ofcom has launched an investigation into Frankie Boyle's show after Katie Price complained about a joke he made about her disabled son.

Katie accused the comic of being a "bully" after he made comments about her son Harvey, who suffers from septo-optic dysplasia and autism, on his show Tramadol Nights.

A spokesman for Ofcom said: "We can confirm that we have received a complaint from Katie Price."

They went on: "Having considered this and other viewers' concerns, we have now launched an investigation into the show."

Oh really??? So people making comments about Katie Waissels chin is disgusting but joking about a disabled child raping his mother is funny?? I have to say jack your logic is all messed up.

I do think a line has been crossed with the '****ing' joke, the first one could be classed as sick humour or something I guess. That said, I do think katie is just looking for sympathy/headlines here, I doubt shes as outraged as she makes out.

Nope, rarely see the others...always seems to be harvey. Not saying shes a crap mum but if you throw your child into the public eye, things like this will happen...rightly or wrongly.

You hardly see Harvey. Even in her ITV shows you don't see him much.

People might not like Katie, but don't go about insinuating she's a bad mother. All Katie has done, if anything in regards to press with Harvey, is to raise awareness.

I dislike her as well but I always thought she was a very good mother and always seemed fantastic with harvey especially, another celeb would have had him in care as he does seem hard to handle

Never insinuated that shes a bad mother at all. Some people need to get the **** down from their high horses.

I agree. Ultimately, whether Harvey is put in the public spotlight at times by Katie herself, it is irrelevant. It still does not give anyone the right to mock and ridicule a child who has severe physical and mental impairment ..... anyone who thinks, " Get over yourselves, it was a joke", needs to ask themselves how they would feel if it was their own child being mocked.... for what...... people to laugh at them? He wasn't offering an opinion -he was mocking the child's disbilities.

Whatever way you look at it, it's not black humour, it's not sick humour - it's disgraceful. Harvey is not in the position to reply or defend himself but that doesn't mean he should be made the butt of jokes..

Let's put it this way: how many comedians would makes jokes about the victim of a paedophile? None in their right minds. It's in the same bracket as far as I'm concerned.
