a) They aren't my beloved Biffy. You're trying to paint me as the only Biffy Clyro fan in the world when in fact, there're thousands, maybe millions. I don't even like them that much. Stop calling me patronising and then saying "your beloved Biffy", it makes you look a hypocrite.
b) I watch it because I have nothing else to do. And because most people I know do, so I like to keep updated. You say you watch it because you enjoy it as a family - well you must then realise the difference between watching something awful for entertainment (such as Big Brother) and watching something for new musical talent (...which is NOT the X Factor).
c) Well I'm dying to hear about your varied musical tastes that allow for Matt Cardle to dominate like he does.
d) Most of the people buying the Biffy song probably DON'T still watch it.

You're just overreacting because you have some absurd emotional investment in Matt - when I've just pointed out most of these protests aren't even against him personally. What does it even matter to you? He'll inevitably have more success than he deserves anyway. There are thousands of talented young musicians out there who're trying to make a name for themselves the honest way, without having their opinions and motives exploited by Cowell for media attention. So yeah, I'm sorry if some people are objecting to a horribly commercial, shallow, talent-destroying system. And I'm sorry if I'm doing it in a patronising tone, but believe me, it's a lot more pleasant than the resentful tone I can quite easily flip to.
