Spain. Been to Costa Dorada, Costa Blanca (Benidorm) and Majorca. Didn't like any of them. Out of the 3 Majorca was best. It was just so samey. Would never step foot on spanish soil again.

Love Turkey and Egypt though!

I've been zillions of holidays, some far better than others - only one sticks in my mind and it was a (second trip) to Turkey: different place - built into a half holiday/half business trip with my partner at the time - what was meant to be a gorg 5* hotel turned out to be full of Russian prostitutes - with the main restaurant set out like some works canteen - I've never seen people shovel so much food into their faces and 'nick' so much grub from the dining room into handbags, beach bags etc - and they treated the staff like sh!te. terrible.

Uber rich Russians with zero class.

Never been there but I can imagine that it's probably my worst nightmare!

Spain (and her islands) are actually beautiful countries if you get away from the tourist trails.. but yeah all these "Costa" resorts are all the same!

Haha.. my friends were booked into some 5* place in Turkey for last year and was advised by other friends to cancel as they had actually been there before and founf the Russian *****s/tourists to be a nightmare. They said they have never seen such rude/aggresive behaviour before!

Hmm.. they do have a bad reputation.. but some of the most dreadful people I have encountered abroad are Brits! We are everything we thin the Germans are but don't realise it..ignorant, rude and arrogant (not all of us obviously, before I get shot down in flames)

Germans are quite annoying the way they're there stealing the sunbeds really early in the morning, I do agree that Brits can be pretty bad though

See... I actually LIKE places that are favoured by the Germans - simply as you tend to find that the hotels are a 'better class', are run well, service par excellence, food good etc, and I've actually met some incredibly nice Germans on holiday. TBH, I prefer them to some of the 'Brits' (aka tattooed fckwit lager louts who spend all day getting pissed, shout at the top of their voice, cuss like there's no tomorrow, allow their kids to run riot and have never heard of the concept of 'respect or consideration'' for others etc). They are a sheer embarrassment.

Yeah, but I've seen more than just the Germans out at the break of dawn with their towels *whistles nonchalantly*

I witnessed an English family coming down to the pool once and taking 4 towels off sunbeds and throwing them on the ground then taking the sunbeds for themselves.. He made some comment about "bloody Krauts" and some cockney chap shouted something like "that's right my son, you show them.. ask them who won the facking war!" I nearly died!!

Such ignorance should be punished by firing squad!

Yeah true, I'd imagine you get that a lot in places like Benidorm, a lot of Britons can be pretty rude abroad, I bet we dont have the best reputation
